I have recently signed up for Instagram, please check me out! I will still be active on deviant art. Newer stuff will be uploaded to instagram and deviant art. For now, I will be uploading selected older art on my insta.

- If it's for commercial, do not just take the piece. Send me a note and we can discuss an arrangement.

I've been super busy with life stuff but now I am back with getting some more art going!
Art Usage:
I really appreciate this community for supporting me through the years. I've noticed a number of requests in my inbox that accumulated over the months about using my art. This is a tough subject to tackle, but I will come up with some rules on what can be used and what I prefer not to be used, so I don't have to reply every time
There will be a separate journal entry about this eventually as I look into it more.
If anyone has anything to add to this, pls let me know as well through notes!

Science Fiction Stuff

I will probably be concentrating a lot more on the Cybercity illustration series since there is a good chance I may be displaying my work alongside some friends at a local comic convention next year. Hopefully these pieces will grow with me as I grow as an artist. My goal is to solidify the universe, the characters and a basic synopsis of a plot.
One interesting fact is that I want to try to incorporate some 80s cyberpunk atmosphere alongside modern technology trends such as cloud computing, driverless cars, bio mechanics, the general advancement of medical technology, and new power sources. All in the near future that is probably a few decades to a century away.
But best of all!! The 80s. Neon lights, the retro synth pop, gritty adult action movies, and tech noir!

Cybercity Knights

It started as a simple digital painting portraying a couple of high-tech motorcyclists that are riding away from the cops. I was really happy with the results and decided to experiment more and to possibly craft a back story for it. While I currently cannot afford the time to make any kind of major developments, I would like to keep this series of illustrations open for possibilities. I couldn't think of a good title yet, so I will stick with Cybercity Knights.
Premise
With the story being set in the near future, the information age is at it’s pinnacle and the age of biotechnology is emerging. The main protagonist of this story would be Ember. She is married to her husband, Reese. Her age is between early to mid thirties. Her eyes are also implanted with mechanical parts due to a rare disease. Laws prohibit any modifications or enhancements to the augmented parts. After an incident between gangs and the couple, they must resolve the issue only to discover the criminal rings run deeper than they thought and there is no way out.
From investigations by an inside man, it is concluded that the son (Damon) of the chairman of the biggest cloud corporation could possibly be involved with trafficking rings (information, humans, black market) in the criminal underworld. This corruption can compromise everybody’s identity. The chairman’s son owns a series of clubs in the city, which could act as a front. It is also unknown whether the father knows about the son’s activities. Damon believes he is creating jobs for the poor as technology is progressing faster than the governments can.
Ember and Reese decide to find the one man that can help them - Reese’s outlawed father who goes by the name of Tanner. He rode with a gang of vigilantes, but works as a lone wolf now. Ember illegally enhances her augmented eyes with an advanced HUD. The trio (along with others that can help) acquire black getaway bikes and set out on a mission to take down the system.
Themes and Style
I wanted to incorporate the 80s and cyberpunk for aesthetic elements.
In this universe, all digital information travels through a central processing cloud which completely controls worldwide routing of information.
Some themes I would want to explore is: class warfare, identity, social status, abuse of power, the information age
